Role impact:

The Director, Organizational Change Management provides leadership in the areas of change management, employee experience and project delivery.  Reporting to VP Human Resources & Change Management, the incumbent partners with the business and across HR to deliver people & change initiatives that enable CF’s multi-billion dollar growth strategy and make people and culture our competitive advantage.    This role also has responsibility for deployment of CF’s Employee Voice surveys and oversight of CF’s Purpose & Values plan to measure and maintain our world class engagement and deepen traction of our award winning OneCF Culture.    Success in this role requires effective collaboration, building strong reciprocal relationships across the business and deftly navigating ambiguity in a high growth environment.

 

What you will deliver:

  • Integrates with larger strategic initiatives to enable change and realize desired growth outcomes.
  • Apply expert knowledge of change management, organizational culture and project delivery to business and growth initiatives and advise on best approaches to meet unique business requirements.
  • Accountable for leadership and implementation of change management planning & execution for enterprise strategic initiatives.  Ensure deliverables build awareness, enhance support and drive adoption in a pragmatic way that demonstrates CF Values in action.
  • Lead scoping and project delivery of key people + culture initiatives & work streams  that enable CF’s strategic priorities, working collaboratively within HR and across business teams to scope the opportunity, build the plan, execute activities, manage risks and achieve desired outcomes. 
  • Collaborate across HR to build and deliver integrated roadmap to continue to evolve our OneCF culture, mobilizing impactful communication vehicles, programs and initiatives to make a meaningful difference in the employee experience and brand. 
  • Deliver CF’s Employee Voice survey program to measure people strategy metrics including traction of employee engagement, employment brand and One CF Culture attributes vs internal and external benchmarks.   Lead analysis, insight generation and action planning and share back progress with the business.   
  • Develop and enable CF’s Purpose & Values plan. Collaborate across HR and with internal communications to plan and deliver communications and experience that engrain CF Values in how we work across CF and drive performance in a meaningful way.
  • Maintain external network of culture and change management practitioners to leverage for expertise and support.  Key abreast of emerging trends and organizational practices.

  • Strong process orientation.   Constructs practical business processes that are efficient and deliver desired results.   Applies a continuous improvement mindset.  Lean Six Sigma experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-priority environment

                                               

What you need to succeed:      

  • University undergraduate degree or equivalent in related business field
  • Minimum 10 years of related business experience.  Experience with working with people and change processes, either as an HR practitioner or business leader.  Business or project experience outside Human Resources is an asset.  Experience in the areas of inclusion and wellbeing also an asset.
  • Experience with structuring and presenting comprehensive, pragmatic business recommendations and gaining support and buy in from senior leaders. 
  • Track record in successful delivery of people, change and culture initiatives with increasing complexity and organizational impact.  Demonstrated track record in leading cross functional business and change initiatives to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience in design, build, test and sustain of new employee experiences.  Proven track record in baselining and improving results to achieve and sustain new levels of performance.  Design thinking and behaviour change experience in asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to review data and identify key insights to guide organizational actions.
  • Experience with survey design, analysis and insight generation.
